'Jackets post big win over Lakers

Despite a three-point third quarter from the Lebanon High School boys’ basketball team, the Yellowjackets were victorious over the Camdenton Lakers on Tuesday night at Camdenton High School, 51-47. Lebanon (2-7 overall, 1-1 Ozark Conference) had a commanding 31-18 lead at the half before the Lakers outscored the Yellowjackets 14-3 in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 34-32 to open the final frame. In the fourth quarter, both teams exchanged blows, but Lebanon delivered the knockout punch as senior Tyler Williamson continued his fantastic play with a layup plus the foul to put LHS ahead 41-38 with 4:37 to play.
