Lebanon’s offense gets hot in win over Waynesville

Posted

The Lebanon High School baseball took care of business in a much-needed bounce-back game against the Waynesville Tigers on Wednesday at Oley Scott Field, winning 11-1 in six innings.
It wasn’t until the second inning on Wednesday that things got rolling for Lebanon. Senior Hunter Honey hit a line drive into  right field, followed by a line drive base hit from Bennett Schnitzer. The two would score on a wild pitch, and junior catcher Justin Dameron drew a walk and came around to score to give LHS a 3-0 lead.
In the third inning, LHS led off their inning with two hit by pitches followed by an RBI single from senior third baseman Drew McBride. Schnitzer had another line drive rope into left field that plated a run, and Dameron had a bases-loaded walk to bring home a run to make it 7-0.
