Jack Raymond Ulrey Jr., 32, of South Carolina, Formerly of Lebanon, died Jan. 27, 2023, in South Carolina.

He was born March 24, 1990, in the Philippines.

Jack was married April 16, 2011.

He graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 2008. In October of the same year he joined the United States Air Force. He served in both Iraq and Kuwait. He began his career as a medical lab tech, then served as part of the prestigious Air Force Honor Guard in Washington, D.C., which led him to achieving his dream career of becoming an Air Force Firefighter, where he became a member of the 628th Civil Engineer Squadron and also part of the Fire Emergency Services Flight team. During his military service he obtained the rank of Technical Sergeant (TSgt).

Jack is survived by his wife Jacqueline; two children, Evelyn Grace and Hunter Bennett; his parents, Jack Ulrey Sr., Theresa Ulrey (Mom) and Ananita Smith (mother); siblings, Mandy Helton, Megan Wilson and her husband Jake, and Jazlyn Cablitas; his father-in-law, Doug Ford; brother-in-law, Christopher Ford and sister-in-law, Cassandra Pascual; grandparents, Thomas Ventura Sr. and Marie Ventura, Jamey Ulrey Sr. and June Ulrey; nieces, Taylor Wilson, Alannah Pascual and Ava Pope; many aunts, uncles and cousins; other relatives and many friends.

A memorial service for Jack Raymond Ulrey Jr. will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Father David Miller officiating. There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at Fort Leonard Wood State Veterans Cemetery in Waynesville with military honors provided by the United States Air Force. There is no scheduled visitation.
