Hughes Senior Center meets first fundraising goals

The Hughes Senior Center is meeting its fundraising goals, after beginning a campaign earlier this year. The Senior Center has been facing a funding shortfall, but board members say they have been successful in receiving donations from the community. Fundraising Chairman Jeremy Garner said the center has met its first quarter goal with matching funds from the Robert W. Plaster Foundation.
