Hughes Senior Center fundraising campaign continues

Hughes Senior Center Board member Jeremy Garner promoted the facility’s fundraising campaign at Thursday’s Lebanon Rotary Club luncheon. Garner has taken on the job of drumming up money for the facility, which has been hit by rising costs for food and other supplies. “A lot of our seniors that attend have contributed to this community for generations and I feel that they needed some help,” he said. “They were in desperate need of funding.” For more on this story, see Saturday's LCR.
