Maurice “Howard’’ Reagan, 76, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023.

He was born Feb. 6, 1946, in Springfield, Mo. to George F. and Florene E. Sharp Reagan.

Howard was married to Betty Dalene Broyles for 56 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, William A. (Bill) Reagan; his parents-in-law, Dale and Betty Broyles, and a niece, Gwenda Hutchinson.

Howard was a patriot and participated in every veteran-based group he was aware off following his retirement from 21 years of military service. He promoted the use of veterans programs and helped many obtain medical and financial benefits that they earned by their own service. He was also a long-term member of the local Lions Club and is an eye tissue donor. He owned and operated AABLE Lock and Blade for nearly 20 years and enjoyed the people he met and the places he saw during those years.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty Dalene (Broyles) Reagan; two sons, Bradley A. (Magda) and Jonathan D.W. (Charlene) Reagan; his grandchildren, Jacob, Victoria and Maverick Reagan and Aiden Hall; his nieces Cynthia Breeden and Jayma Sutton and their families; as well as a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Simon and Beverly Westerfield who shared much of their life with him.

A graveside service and burial for Maurice “Howard’’ Reagan will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2023, at the Fort Leonard Wood State Veterans Cemetery with the Rev. Marsha Vincent officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army.
