HOWARD DEAN WEAVER

Howard Dean Weaver, 77, of Niangua, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2022, at Mercy Hospital Lebanon.

He was born April 4, 1945, in Lebanon, Mo. to Rev. Ernest Weaver and Mary Ballard Weaver.

On May 7, 1977, he was united in marriage to Christine Moore, and to this union one daughter and three sons were born.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant child; an infant brother; three infant sisters; and two sisters, Louise and Irene.

Howard lived his entire life in the Grovespring community. He owned and operated a farm for most of his life and also worked at Independent Stave Company, now Missouri Cooperage for 33 years. He liked being outdoors where he enjoyed horseback riding, working with his cattle, cutting hay, and rabbit and coon hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Christine, of the home near Niangua; a daughter, Sandra Doan and her husband Herbert of Olathe, Kan.; three sons, Paul Weaver of Niangua; Howard Dean Weaver II, and Melissa of Grovespring, and James Dean Weaver “J.D.’’ and his wife Teresa of Halfway; five grandchildren, Elijah and his wife Vero, Hailey, James, Abby, and Ashlynn; four great-grandchildren, Ezekial, Lucas, Matthew, Alayna; three brothers, Everett Weaver and his wife Lola of Springfield; Greg Weaver and his wife Bonnie, and Clifford Weaver, all of Lake Ozark, Mo.; three sisters, Shirley Ballard and Ewana Weaver, both of Lebanon, and Kathy Angst and her husband Doug of Phillipsburg; a number of nieces and nephews; his best friend, Robert “Bob’’ McClimon of Grovespring; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
