Helen Irene Hanni, 101, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, March 3, 2021, in Lebanon.
She was born Feb. 12, 1920, in Stone Creek, Ohio to Harry Edmund and Serena Hulda (Miller) Neiger.
On Feb. 26, 1944, she married Oscar Hanni. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Oscar Hanni; her parents; five brothers, Raymond, Glen, John, Charles, and Ralph; three sisters, Ruth Gowins, Betty Welshenbaugh, and Doris Harper; and one great-granddaughter, Veronica Duke.
Helen worked for Dura Products and Timkin Roller Bearings while living in Ohio.
She is survived by three sons, John Hanni of Lebanon; Arthur Hanni of Lebanon, and Paul Hanni of Flagler Beach, Fla.; one daughter, Elizabeth and husband Archie Cable of Louisburg; one sister, Esther Gowins of Ohio; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Helen Irene Hanni were held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2021, in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens of Memory.
