Laclede County reported 71 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday.
The Laclede County Health Department reported that the county has now recorded 2,697 cases to date with 940 currently being monitored and 1,714 considered recovered. The county has recorded 43 COVID-19 deaths.
The Health Department said all 71 cases reported Monday were symptomatic with 14 identified as a close contact to a positive case and 11 identified as a household contact to a positive case. The remaining 46 had no known contact to a positive case and were assumed to be community spread.
