Harold Stayton Morrow, 86, of Stowe, Vt., formerly of Lebanon, died Feb. 19, 2021, at The Manor in Morrisville, Vt.
He was born Aug. 26, 1934, in Olean, Mo. to Aubrey Livingston Morrow and Nellie Marie (Stayton) Morrow.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife Maggie Morrow; his son, Harold (H.S.) Morrow; his brothers, Gerald Morrow and Junior Morrow, both of Lebanon; his two sisters, Opal Wicks of Lebanon, and Maxine Young of California; his sister, Dorothy Thompson, formerly of Lebanon who died on Feb. 24, 2021, in Florida.
He was a graduate of Lebanon High School in the class of 1952. He attended William Jewell College in Liberty and later served in the U.S. Army during the late 1950s. Hal was a sales representative for over 50 years, continuing to work until very recently.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Shelby H. Morrow and Parker W. Morrow, both of Massachusetts; one sister-in-law, Gean Morrow of Lebanon; nine nieces and nephews, and many treasured friends.
No public service is planned at this time. Faith Funeral Home in Morrisville, Vt. is assisting with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Harold Morrow to St. John’s in the Mountains Episcopal Church. Funds will benefit the Lamoille Community House shelter.
