Grace Wagoner Webb, 97, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, March 10, 2021, in Lebanon.

She was born Aug. 25, 1923, in Laclede County, Mo. to Charley L. and Elvia Davis Green.

On May 10, 1942, she married Warren G. Wagoner and June 2, 1990, she married Merlyn (Curley) Webb.

Those preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, Warren G. Wagoner on Nov. 7, 1984, Merlyn (Curley) Webb on Aug. 10, 1996; one son, James E. Wagoner; five sisters, Irene Owens, Rachael Ruble, Daisy Knight, Mary Katherine Green and Thelma Atchley, and by five brothers Charles Green, twins Joe and Jean Green, Lewis Green and Richard Green.

Grace worked 39 years for Lebanon Public Schools as head cook at Hillcrest School and nine years at Bennett Spring Dining Lodge as a waitress and cashier. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary No. 4710 of Lebanon. She was a volunteer at the Hughes Senior Center for many years and enjoyed her work there, always willing to assist anyone.

She professed her faith in Christ Nov. 19, 1951, by Rev. J.L. Stone and was baptized at Brush Creek Aug. 30, 1953, by Rev. J.F. Fike. Grace followed the Christian faith throughout her life.

Survivors include one daughter, Pat Bean and her husband Larry of Lebanon; one son Jack Wagoner of Naples, Fla.; eight grandchildren, David Bean (Amy), April True (Danny), Eric Bean (Rebecca), J. E. Wagoner (Peggy), Rebecca Webb, Brian Wagoner, Cory Wagoner and Tim Wagoner; 17 great-grandchildren, including Hailey Bean, Karagan Bean, Delaney Bean, Lane True, Logan True, Cody Bean, Katie Bean, Cory Bean, Jeanne Wagner and foreign exchange students, Anastasiya “Nastya” Driginkina and Maeva Rivoal; three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Grace Wagoner Webb will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2021, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Allen Reeves officiating. Burial will be in White Oak Pond Cemetery near Lebanon, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 15, until 2 p.m. service time at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. To sign the guestbook online please visit shadelscolonialchapel.com.
