Missouri Gov. Mike Parson is scheduled to visit the Lebanon-Laclede County Library at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday. The visit, which is open to the public and will take place in the Dan and Joan True rooms, is part of the Governor’s celebration of the state’s bicentennial leading up to Missouri Statehood Day on Aug. 10. Lebanon-Laclede County Library Director Cathy Dame said they are hoping for a good crowd. “I think this leg of the bicentennial tour is following Route 66, they’re leaving Springfield, then I believe the next stop is Marshfield, then here in Lebanon and then stops in Waynesville and Cuba that day,” she said.
