Laclede County Republicans gathered at the Mills Center Thursday to hear from local and state candidates, including Secretary of State and candidate for Governor Jay Ashcroft.
Ashcroft, who currently serves as Missouri Secretary of State, was the final speaker of the evening for the Lincoln Days event. He said he has worked to improve election integrity, protect children from seeing inappropriate books in public libraries “and make sure that your tax dollars are being appropriately spent.”
