Gloria Joyce (Smith) Bowman, 88, of Mountain Grove, was born Aug. 15, 1937, in San Jose, Calif. to Richard Howard and Anna Maude (Roark) Smith and died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025.
She is survived by a daughter, Leslie Anne (Bowman) Ballew, and a sister, Barbara Joan (Smith) Harker.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, at the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration in Mountain Grove. Private burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
A memorial has been established to the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration or Wright County Friends of the Library in Mountain Grove.
