GLORIA “JANEEN’’ MOORE

Gloria “Janeen’’ Moore, 79, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, in Lebanon.

She was born July 18, 1942, to Delbert and Myrtle Shadrick Berry.

On Nov. 4, 1960, she married Vernon Eugene Moore.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Vernon Eugene Moore, who died Aug. 28, 2017; and one brother, Bill Berry.

Janeen graduated from Lebanon High School with honors. She retired from the Laclede County Circuit Clerk’s office after many years of service to Laclede County. She also worked at Krehbiel Engineering with her husband Vernon.

She was a longtime, active and faithful member of Mt. Horeb Missionary Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years.

She is survived by her son, Roger Moore and his wife Cindy Moore of Buffalo; special granddaughter that she loved more than life, McKenzie Harbaugh and her husband Kale; her brother, Ivan Berry and his wife Freda of Kansas; sister-in-law, Veta Berry of Kansas; numerous nieces and nephews that referred to her as Aunt NeeNie; other relatives and many friends

Funeral services for Gloria “Janeen’’ Moore will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, at Mt. Horeb Missionary Baptist Church with Dennis North and Phil Burns officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Horeb Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until service time, also on Saturday, Oct. 2, at Mt. Horeb Missionary Baptist Church.
