Gloria Barlett Szopiak, 88, of Lebanon, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2020, in Lebanon.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Katherine Szopiak.
Gloria married Walter Szopiak.
She was a devoted homemaker. The joy of her life was her family.
Gloria was a devout Roman Catholic.
She is survived by her husband, Walter of the home; one son, Walter Szopiak and wife Patricia of Danville, Calif.; three daughters, Gloria Coalson and husband Derwood of Lebanon; Wilhelmina Person of Markbergl, Germany and Bernice Schwarzenberg and husband Michael of Kingwood, W.V.; one brother, Hal Barlett of Bountiful, Utah; grandchildren, Jennifer Rivers (George), of Rockville, Md.; ohn Walter Kramb, of Fort Collins, Colo.; Richard Hamil of Frederick, Md.; Laura Pearson of Marberg, Germany; Ryan Pearson of Halle, Germany, Lauren Georgian (Samuel) of Seattle, Wash.; Peter Schwarzenberg of Fountain Hill, Pa.; Erin Szopiak of Bentonville, Ark.; and Michael Szopiak of South Bend, Ind.
Funeral Mass for Gloria Barlett Szopiak will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Lebanon with Father David Miller officiating. Burial will be in Fort Leonard Wood Veterans Cemetery with military honors provided by the United under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. There is no scheduled visitation.
