Glenda Sue Palmer, 75, of Hartville, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021, in Springfield.
She was born Sept. 20, 1946, in Hartville, Mo. Glenda was raised in Hartville and graduated with the class of 1964. She then attended college at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar. Later she returned to Hartville, where she raised her two daughters. She worked for Zenith for a few years and worked for Tobin Hamilton Shoe Factory for 13 years. Glenda later stated her own daycare in her home for nearly 30 y ears.
Glenda was preceded in death by her mother, Dora Palmer, and a host of aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her daughters, Laura Keith of Marshfield and Lisa Gupton (Brandon) of Fishers, Ind.; grandchildren, Grayson Gupton, Lila Gupton, and Silas Gupton, and many cousins.
A graveside service and burial for Glenda Sue Palmer will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2021, at Steele Memorial Cemetery in Hartville, under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home at Hartville.
Visitation will be 2-2:45 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
