A whole new generation of Tony Hawks will get their chance to hone their skateboarding skills at Lebanon’s new skatepark at Gasconade Park.
A new skatepark opened this week and an official opening is planned in the near future. The new skating area has attracted
new people to the park and helped make skate boarding more accessible in the city, according to Parks Director John Shelton.
During an interview with the Record, Shelton recalled the city’s old skatepark, which
was located at the former Nelson Park, and said the new one is a big improvement.
