Gary Lynn Mitchell, 75, of Waynesville, Mo., a retired United States Army soldier, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026, in his home.
He is survived by three children: Tonya Dillon (Jason) of Pensacola, Fla., Adam Mitchell (Nicole) of Waynesville, Mo. and Mike Angus (Alicia) of Olivet, Mich.; twelve grandchildren; one sister: Anne of Asheville, N.C.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2026, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville, Mo.
