Gale Hildebrand, 85, of Plato, died Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
He was born Dec. 31, 1936, to Henry and Mabel (Lee) Hildebrand, and grew up in Evening Shade.
In 1978 he married Mary (DeSmedt) Hildebrand.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sabrina Jones; his parents, and siblings, Melvin, Irene, Glen, Ozelda, Maxine, and Novella.
Survivors include his wife Mary; two children, one sister, Josie; six grandchildren, Skyler, Matt, Karina, Hailey, Sayde, and Presley; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Gale Hildebrand will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Palace Union Church in Evening Shade. Burial will follow in Long Hollow Cemetery, under the direction of Evans Funeral Home of Houston. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
