Jaden Norris earns the rank of Eagle Scout from Scouts BSA

Posted
It is not easy to become an Eagle Scout. Ask Jaden Norris. To receive the rank of Eagle Scout from Scouts BSA, formerly called the Boy Scouts of America He had to earn 21 merit badges, complete a major project and make an appearance before the Troop 57 Board of Review. Before the Board, he had to answer a host of questions explaining what it means to be a Scout, which was fine with Norris. He sees the benefits of the Scouting life. "Over time, it just seemed that it really benefits a lot of what you do in life, and it's really a lot of nice skills to learn," Norris said. The 21 badges have an emphasis on citizenship as well as physical activities like hiking, swimming, cycling, personal fitness and the potentially life-altering skills of first aid and lifesaving.
