First State Community Bank donated $18,000 to local charities with money raised during its 22nd annual Charity Golf Classic.
“Our mission is to help the organizations that truly need assistance to do what they do. You can’t imagine what a difference this money will make to them…and to those in our community that they serve,” said Tournament Director Merri Hess. “We raised over $18,000 which we feel is incredible given this year’s Covid restrictions. Charities have struggled this year since most fundraising efforts were cancelled yet their needs continue to increase.”
