Frederick William “Fred’’ Bloch, 73, of Lebanon, was born May 19, 1950, in California, Mo. to Maxwell and Velma Henry Bloch and died Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, in Springfield. He is survived by his wife Geanine; children, Sarah Rader and her husband Shane of Republic, Cassie Rickard and her husband Eddie of St. Louis and David Greenwood and his wife Courtney of Richland; eight grandchildren; one brother, Paul Bloch and his wife Becky of California, Mo.; brothers and sisters-in-law. Funeral services were held at noon Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Tim Jarvis officiating. Burial was in Evangelical Cemetery in California, Mo. under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024, until service time at noon, also at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Memorials in memory of Fred have been suggested to Wagons for Warriors.
