A former clerk for the Village of Phillipsburg has been charged with taking more than $10,000 from the village by allegedly altering checks and making unapproved payments to herself and family.
Marcella Ann Todd, 49, of Phillipsburg, has been charged with seven counts of forgery, a class D felony, following an investigation by the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office.
Todd is next scheduled to be in Laclede County Court on April 12 for her initial appearance. She is represented by attorney Chris Allen of Lebanon, according to court records.
