First responders and other members of emergency service offices underwent NIMS 300 training last Tuesday-Thursday at the Office of Emergency Management.
NIMS 300 stands for the National Incident Command System course at the 300 level and was taught by John Elmore, an adjunct for state emergency management preparedness courses.
“Responders take this particular training all around the state,” he said. “There are nine courses throughout the year.”
