The Lebanon Police Department said Tuesday no charges are currently pending in a recent string of arson fires.
A 28-year-old Lebanon man described as a person of interest was taken in for questioning in connection to the string of nine fires on Friday. He was later charged with a class D felony of drug possession. He has not been charged in connection with the fires. It is the LCR’s policy to not release the name of a suspect until they have received a criminal charge.
Sgt. Kacie Springer said last week, “At this time we do not have any charges pending and we are still actively investigating the incident.” Springer said Tuesday this had not changed.
