SGM (Ret) Fermen C. Espinoza, 95, of Waynesville, a retired United States Army Sergeant Major, died Tuesday, May 30, 2023, in his home.

He is survived by his wife Marie Espinoza of the home; five children, Fermen Espinoza (Patti) of Waynesville; Diana Bailey (Stan) of Punta Gorda, Fla.; Valerie Moats (Jerry) of Punta Gorda, Fla.; Debbie Nickels of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Linda Britton (Warren) of Waynesville; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2023, in the Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery of Waynesville. Visitation will be from 1- 2 p.m. Monday in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of SGM (Ret) Fermen Espinoza and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
