Faye (Richard) James, 99, of Springfield, formerly of Roby, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2022, in Springfield.
She was born Feb. 19, 1923, in Turley, Mo. to Wade and Nora Richard.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Orvil James in 2009, her youngest son, Ronald James in 1984; her parents, her siblings, five siters and two brothers.
She was a longtime member of Roby Christian Church.
She is survived by her sons, Jim James and his wife Rhonda of Fairview, Texas, and Michael James of Springfield; her grandsons, Steve and Scott of Arvada, Colo.; as well as many extended family members and friends.
A graveside service for Faye James was held at the Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Roby, under the direction of Evans Funeral Home of Houston.
