Ethan Mustard becomes two-time state medalist

Lebanon sophomore Ethan Mustard continues to etch his name in the history books of the boys’ golf program. For the second-straight season, Mustard medaled and brought home All-State honors at the MSHSAA Class 5 State Championships on Monday and Tuesday at Silo Ridge in Bolivar. During the two-day tournament, Mustard finished his first round tied for third with a 71 (-1) and carded a 78 (+6) in the final round to finish with a 149 (+5) and tied for 11th overall with the top 15, earning All-State honors. In 2022, he scored 82 and 71 for a 153 at Meadow Lake Acres in New Bloomfield as a freshman and tied for 9th. Lebanon head coach Trey Overstreet said he is proud of the way Mustard stayed composed on the final hole and throughout his tough round on Tuesday. For more on this story see the LCR.
