Estia Marie Arnold, 100, of Lebanon, Missouri, died Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Lebanon, Missouri.


She was born January 27, 1926, in Mountain Grove, Missouri to Guy and Mayme Blacksher Halliburton.


Those preceding her in death include her parents, her husband Stanley Arnold; sisters, Thelma Halliburton, Naomi Chandler, Marcella Duncan, Willetta Neher, Maxine Medders and Elsie Keyes.


Estia worked for H.D. Lee for a period of time. Later, she worked as the food service supervisor for the Army Air Force Exchange at Fort Leonard Wood for twenty-two years.


She was a longtime member of Highland Park Church of God.


Estia Marie is survived by her sons, Richard Bethel and his wife Mary of Lebanon, Missouri, Dean Bethel of Laquey, Missouri, Roy Bethel and Paula of Richmond Hill, Georgia, Troy Bethel and Annette and Eddie Bethel of Lebanon, Missouri, and Lester Bethel and his wife Martha of Acton, Massachusetts, five sisters, Ruth Carter, Alean Manasco, LeNora Ferguson, Mary Ann Coats and Kathrine Halliburton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.


Funeral services for Estia Marie Arnold will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2026, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Cecil Peppers officiating.


There is no scheduled burial. She is to be cremated following the funeral service.


Visitation for Estia will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2026, until service time at 2:00 p.m., at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.


Memorials in memory of Estia have been suggested to Highland Park Church of God. Donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, 1001 N. Lynn or P.O. Box 948, Lebanon, Missouri 65536.


Arrangements are under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
