EMILY LOUISE (MEETH) AGEE

Emily Louise (Meeth) Agee, 90, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, June 24, 2020, in Lebanon.

She was born June 18, 1930, in Lebanon, Mo. to Joseph and Rosa Ford Meeth.

On July 9, 1949, she married Claude Agee.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Claude on Dec. 21, 1988; one son, sisters, Amelia Coryell, Margueritte Renner and Viola Parsons; four brothers, Francis and Oscar Harold and Leslie Meeth in infancy.

Emily was a shrink plastic operator for a packaging company for many years. She attended high school in St. Louis, Mo. and was president of Women’s Auxiliary. She was an excellent cook, she enjoyed word search puzzles and was a seamstress. After she and her husband Claude retired in Peoria, Ill., they moved to Lebanon where she remained to her passing.

She was baptized in 1959 at the Methodist Church in Bartonville, Ill.

Survivors include Survivors include one daughter, Vi Dealy and her husband Callie of Sibley, Mo.; two grandsons, Grant Dealy and his wife Leslie and Justin Dealy and his wife Christin; two great-grandchildren, Cora and Gus; brothers and sister-in-law, Paul Agee of the state of Michigan and Chester and Bonnie Agee of Lebanon; special friend Twila Meyer and her son, Harry of Lebanon; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Emily Louise (Meeth) Agee were held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2020, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until service time also at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
