ELVIS OGLE

Elvis Ogle, 88, of Richland, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021, in Richland.

He was born Jan. 20, 1933, in Pulaski County, Mo. to Ferman Buford Ogle and Fairy Margaret Carroll Ogle.

On Feb. 19, 1978, he married Betty Joe Ogle.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Betty Joe Ogle, who died March 21, 2017; two brothers, Bob and Don Ogle, and by one sister, Ruby Ogle.

Elvis graduated from Richland High School in 1950. He served in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged. Upon his return home, he worked on the construction of Interstate 44. He then worked for McDonald Aircraft in Fenton, Mo. as a machinist for 31 years, until his retirement. In 1985, he returned to the Ogle family farm in Richland.

He is survived by two brothers, Larry Ogle of Richland and Raymond Ogle and his wife Patsy, of Sharon, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and dear friends.

A graveside service and burial for Elvis Ogle will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, at Hazelgreen Cemetery with Bill Williams officiating, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation for Elvis will be held from noon until departure time to the cemetery at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to Hazelgreen Cemetery.
