ELMER FRANKLIN STEWARD

Elmer Franklin Steward, 86, of Richland, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021, in Richland.

He was born Sept. 27, 1935, in Pulaski County, Mo. to Jasper Newton and Bertha Cook Steward.

Elmer was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Bill, Delmar and Bob Steward and by two sisters, Shirley Darlene Allen and Maxine McDaniel.

He attended school in Lebanon and also in Pulaski County. He was employed by several boat manufacturing companies including Richline, Osagian, Appleby and Voyager Boats.

Elmer attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church near Sleeper.

He is survived by two brothers, Larry Steward of Richland and Gary Steward of Iberia; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral services for Elmer Franklin Steward will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Mike Allen officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Richland, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. also on Wednesday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Memorials have been suggested in memory of Elmer for expenses.
