Elbert Eugene Prather, 83 of Waynesville, Mo., passed away Saturday, October 17, 2026.
He is survived by his three children: Thomas T. Prather and wife Sue of the State of Texas, Lonnie L. Prather of Waynesville, Mo. and Arthena A. Dye and husband Tony of Waynesville, Mo.; four grandchildren: Shaquille, Zylphie, Madelyn (Case), and Weslee; two siblings: Sue Abrams of Skidmore, Mo. and Gretchen Kirchner of Clarinda, Iowa; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2026, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville St. Robert. Burial will follow in the Deerlick Cemetery of Waynesville, Mo.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2026, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
