Edward “Doyle Eddie’’ Jones, 81, of Mountain Grove, formerly of Grovespring, was born Feb. 27, 1942, in Grovespring to Oscar Vincent Jones and Virgie Ellen (Smittle) Jones and died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024, in Springfield. He is survived by a daughter, Sherry Horton; a granddaughter and great-grandsons; one step-daughter, Tina Ferguson of Lebanon; two stepsons, Roger Ferguson and his wife Gina of High Ridge, and Spencer Ferguson of Hartville; one sister, Jackie Mayne and her husband Kenny of Grovespring. A memorial visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, 2024, at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mountain Grove.
