Dustin Wayne Pickett, son of Charles Pauley and Debra Ann Keithley, was born October 15, 1981, in Waynesville, Missouri. He departed this life Tuesday, November 12, 2024 in Vida, Missouri, at the age of forty-three.
Dustin was raised in Rolla, Missouri and graduated from Rolla High School. He went on to earn his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Debra.
Dustin is survived by his husband, Leon Pickett of Lebanon, Missouri; his daughter, Jaiden Rae Duncan of Lebanon, Missouri; and his father-in-law, Gary Dyer of Lebanon, Missouri.
Dustin was employed at Wal-Mart in Lebanon and Osage Beach, Missouri as a Pharmacy Tech for fourteen years. He was a reserved individual with a sharp wit. He took great pride in his work and made many friends throughout his career.
He was a very creative person and enjoyed crafting and decorating. He loved traveling, especially to Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Dustin was a loving father and loved his family dearly. He will be remembered for his kind and caring personality. We know his family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories he made for them.
A memorial service will be held Friday, November 22, 2024, at 5 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon.
A memorial to Claws and Paws has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
