Making adjustments is the "Key to Health" for both humans and animals

Posted
Some of Dr. Margaret Swick's chiropractic clients can get a little snappish at times. At Key to Health Chiropractic, she sees both people and animals and adjusts their spines for full functionality. The animals she sees at her practice at 291 North Adams across the street from the Sheriff's Office require a veterinarian's recommendation. While the humans can tell her where it hurts, the rest of her clients use their non-verbal skills to to let Swick know she has found a sore spot. The message has the potential to be painful for Swick. "That's the trick with horses or dogs. Sometimes they don't want to put up with it. I've been fortunate in that most of my clients have been fairly agreeable," Swick said. She has never been bitten, but dogs have given her a "warning snap" to let her know they would prefer she not do that. For more on this story see the LCR.
