SMsgt (Ret) Douglas Allen “Doug” Wheeler, 67 of Waynesville, a retired United States Air Force Senior Master Sergeant, died Thursday, July 4, 2024, in his home.
SMsgt (Ret) Wheeler is survived by his wife Erica Wheeler of the home; four children, Callie S. Wheeler and Carlie R. Wheeler, both of Waynesville, Nicole R. Cope (Travis) and Gregory M. Wheeler, both from the state of Texas; three grandchildren, Jacob M. Wheeler, Dylan J. Cope, and Lukas Cope; sister, Kimberly A. Murray (Ben); several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2024, in the Christ’s Mission Church of St. Robert. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2024, in the Christ’s Mission Church of St. Robert.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of SMsgt (Ret) Doug Wheeler and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory or at Christ’s Mission Church.
