Dottie Gideon, 76, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020, in Lebanon.
She was born May 22, 1944, to Arthur Griffin and Inez Swaddle in Grovespring.
On Aug. 12, 1967, Dottie married Benjamin Gideon.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Alma, Alfred, Shirlean, Robert and Bobbie.
Dottie was a devoted homemaker who provided a warm and loving home for her family. She enjoyed watching television, raising flowers, sewing, embroidery and quilting, However, she most enjoyed time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Dottie is survived by her husband; three sons: Danny Gideon of Lebanon, Ronnie Gideon and his wife, Tina, of Lebanon and Donnie Gideon and his wife, Laura, of Monett; one daughter, Dilean Gideon of Lebanon; six grandchildren: Maranda, Shanna, Ronnie Tyler, Tammy, Misty and Michael; several great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Graveside service for Dottie Gideon is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday Dec. 15, 2020, at McBride Cemetery with Lonnie Nelson and Ralph Baker officiating under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. There is no visitation scheduled.
