Dorothy Ruth “Dottie’’ Bowker Leach, 90, of Lebanon, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, in Lebanon.

She was born Sept. 6, 1932, in Burlington, N.J.

Dottie was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Sonny; two sisters, Betty and Gladys and her husband Raymond Louis Bowker.

Not only did she spent many years working on the dairy farm, she was a Registered Nurse and worked in the profession in various aspects, including in the emergency room, nursing homes and teaching nurse’s aide classes for nearly 40 years. She joked that once she got in trouble for having “too much fun’’ with her nurse’s aide students.

She is survived by her children, Wayne Bowker and his wife Judy, Wanda McGuire, Wendy Jemes and Wanneta Moyers and her husband Brad; seven grandchildren, Steven, Mark, Matthew, Joshua, Annabell, Nicky and Whitney; four great-grandchildren, Eloise, Stella, Jenny and Lucy; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Dorothy Ruth “Dottie’’ Bowker Leach will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Rev. Neal Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park. Visitation will be at noon until service time also on Thursday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
