Doris Marie Callahan, 90, of Kissimmee Florida, formerly of Richland, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, in Kissimmee, Florida.


She was born May 25, 1936, in Camden County, Missouri to Oliver Ordell and Pearl Mildred (Oursbourn) Wells.


On September 24, 1959, she was united in marriage to Bob Callahan.


Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob Callahan, daughter, Diana Callahan, her parents and a sister, Mildred Donald.


Doris continued to make her home in the Richland community. She worked at Fort Leonard Wood before continuing her career with Missouri Ozarks Community Action Agency (MOCA), where she retired in 2018 after 51 years of service.


For many years, Doris was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church.


Doris is survived by her son, Steve Callahan, and his wife, Margie, of Kissimmee, Florida; her grandchildren, Steven Callahan and his wife, Brittany, and Jessica Callahan; her great-grandson, Steven Lawrence; her brother-in-law, John Patrick Callahan, and his wife, Mary, of Lewisville, Texas; her nieces and nephews, John and Marlene Donald of Lebanon, Kay Struckhoff of Springfield, Denise Callahan of Fort Worth, Texas, and Kendra Freiwald of Lewisville, Texas; Jaclyn Donald of Kirkland, WA as well as other relatives and dear friends.


Funeral services for Doris Marie Callahan will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Richland with Pastor Matt Brady officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.


Visitation will be Friday, June 26, 2026, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
