Donald Eugene Mears Jr., 51, of Mountain Grove, was born July 20, 1974, to Ronald and Sandra (Schofield) Mears and died Saturday, March 28, 2026.
He is survived by his wife Denise Mears of the home; his mother, Sandra Schofield of Mountain Grove; five children, Steven Sparbel and his wife Rhonda of Mountain Grove, Whitney Maggard of Gainesville, Cody Carder and his wife Rachelle of West Plains, Destiny Mears of Milledgeville, Ga., and Autumn Carder and her boyfriend Jordon of St. Peters; two sisters, Dawn Johnson and her husband Donald of Marion, N.C. and Jamie O’Neill and her fiance’ Robert of Salisbury, Mo., and three grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2026, at Cedar Center Park in Mountain Grove, under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mountain Grove.
