Dixie Grandmaitre, 91, of Strafford, formerly of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, at Strafford Care Center in Strafford. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Jones and husband Howard of Lebanon, two sons, Leon Spence and wife Kathy of Tunas, and Tom Spence and wife Carrie or Urbana; her sister, Savilla May Simpson of Mt. View, Wash.; her son-in-law, Dean Jones; several half-brothers and half-sisters; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Dixie Grandmaitre will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2024, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon. Visitation will follow the service. A memorial to the Free Store Ministry has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
