Dion Michael Carter-Gillmore, 24, of Lebanon, died March 24, 2021, in Lebanon.
He was born Jan. 21, 1997, in Lake Ozark, Mo. to Robert Carter and Jennifer (Gillmore) McGinnis.
Dion was preceded in death by his father, Robert Carter; grandpa Rick Gillmore; great-grandparents, Delores and Ralph Gillmore, Frank Farris, and Lawson and Bette Boelter.
He worked as a stocker at Wal-Mart in Lebanon. He also enjoyed trading in the stock market. In his spare time, he enjoyed making videos with his friends and posting them on the internet, playing video games and taking selfies. Most of all, he loved his family and time spent with them, taking float trips on the Niangua, participating in the Juvenile Diabetes walks.
Dion is survived by his mother, Jennifer (Robert) McGinnis of Lebanon; six brothers, Robert McGinnis of Lebanon; Taryn Carter of Laquey; Joshua Vire of Richland; and a sister, Mary McGinnis of Lebanon.
A Celebration of Life service for Dion Michael Carter-Gillmore will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021, in the Family Church of Lebanon. No burial is scheduled at this time.
