Dennis Roy Brown, 68, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, in Springfield.
He was born Dec. 22, 1952, in Yakima, Wash. to Clifton Harold and Roberta Price Brown.
Dennis was preceded in death by his biological father, Sgt. Roy Collins on Oct. 15, 1952, during the war; his parents, Clifton Harold and Roberta Price Brown; and one brother, Jim Brown.
He graduated from Stoutland High School with the class of 1970. In younger years, he enjoyed working on the farm and fishing.
Dennis was a member of Stoutland Baptist Church. He was saved and baptized at Richland First Baptist Church in the late 1960s.
He is survived by one daughter, Denise Marlene Huey and her husband Aaron of Portland, Ind.; two grandchildren, Abby Harrington of Springfield and Cody Gibson of Portland, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Marie Brown of Stoutland; one nephew, Clifton G.H. Brown of Lebanon; other relatives and friends.
There will be a private graveside service in mid-December to celebrate his life at the Stoutland Cemetery with the Rev. Aaron Huey officiating. His body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
