Denis R. Forbes, 64, of Conway, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024, in his home. He is survived by his daughters, Anna Chatmon and her husband Anthony of Frontenac, Kan., Abigail Kirsch of Pittsburg, Kan., Heather Weddle and her husband Ryan of Lebanon, and Sandi Romero of Springfield; two sons, Denis Miller of Pittsburg, Kan. and Mike Fairchild of Hartville; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one on the way; his mother, Nancy Forbes of Arma, Kan.; his brother, Doug Forbes and his wife Ellen of Montana; two sisters, Carol Clark and her husband John of Arma, Kan. and Linda Poznick of Pittsburg, Kan.; his significant other, Jill Waterman; his daughter-in-law, Tricia Peggyjohn; and his brother-in-law, Doyle Standifer. Visitation was from 4-6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon. A memorial has been established to Toys for Tots and donations may be left at the funeral home.
