Danny Ray Shelden, 72 of Dixon, Mo., passed away Friday, October 9, 2026, in the Mercy Health Hospital of Springfield, Mo.
He is survived by his wife: Grace Shelden of the home; three children: Sheila Dool (Danny) of Branson, Mo., Diane Bise (Robert) of Waynesville, Mo., and Daniel Shelden (Janie) of Dixon, Mo.; five grandchildren: Sondra Sitton (Michael) of Clever, Mo., Megan O’Brien (Cris) of Billings, Mo., Dillon Dool (Sarah) of Republic, Mo., Denton Shelden of Columbia, Mo., and Dominic Shelden of Dixon, Mo.; five great-grandchildren: Colton, Bentley, Eleanor, Barry, and Remi; one sister: Carol Woody (Tom) of Laquey, Mo.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2026, in the Dixon Assembly of God Church of Dixon, Mo. Burial will follow in the Sheppard Cemetery of Dixon, Mo.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2026, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Danny Shelden and may be left at the funeral home or at the church on the day of the service.
