Daniel Lee Hobbs, 37, of Lebanon, died Tuesday evening, Nov. 16, 2021, in Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
He was born Feb. 1, 1984, in Warrensburg, Mo. to Kenneth Leroy and Shirley Hale Whitaker Hobbs.
In September of 2009 he married Jessica Michelle Fisher.
Daniel was preceded in death by his father; his wife Jessica on July 31, 2018; and his father-in-law, Charles Fisher.
He was raised in Kingsville and lived most of his life in that area. He worked at the sale barn, did construction work, and then moved to Lee’s Summit to work as a handyman. After he and Jessica were married, they made their home in Lebanon and Daniel worked for his father-in-law at the sale barn.
Daniel was raised in the Kingsville Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Hobbs of Lee’s Summit; a daughter, Jada Hobbs of Buffalo; his stepchildren, Eric Webb Jr. and Zachary Webb of Lee’s Summit and Michael West and Elisa West, both of Lebanon; a sister, Robin Webb and her husband Eric of Lee’s Summit, and a niece, Audrey Webb of Lee’s Summit.
Funeral services for Daniel Lee Hobbs will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon with James McCoy officiating, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
