Dana Beth McCulloch Cox, 58, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020, in Lebanon.

She was born Tuesday, Dec. 19, 1961, in Lebanon, Mo. to Albert Lee and Rowena Joyce Clark McCulloch.

On Dec. 14, 2013, she married Jerry Frank Cox DDS.

She was preceded in death by her father, Albert McCulloch; Jerry’s daughter, Jennifer Cox, and Jerry’s grandson, Carter Cox.

She graduated from Lebanon High School, class of 1980. After graduation, Dana began a career in the dental field that spanned over 38 years. Her first job as a dental assistant was in 1981 when she accepted a job working for the Department of Mental Health serving the needs of both handicapped and challenged children. She was later employed with Dan Brady DDS. Dana joined the group of Advanced Dental in 2003. She worked not only as a Certified Dental Assistant but was able to secure multiple certificates for completion of expanded functions in the dental field.

Survivors include her husband Jerry Cox DDS of Lebanon; her mother Joyce Clark McCulloch of Lebanon; her three children Dusty Wade and his wife Krenda McClure Wade of Lebanon, Erica Wade Fletcher and her husband Jeremy of Springfield, and Tyler Cox of Lebanon; her two sisters Kim McCulloch Weaver and her husband Dana of St. Joseph; Kelly McCulloch Farris of Lebanon; Jerry’s children, Tom Cox and his wife Amanda of Lebanon; and four grandchildren, Spencer Fletcher of Springfield, Trustin, Hope and Shepherd Cox, of Lebanon; as well as a host of nephews, family and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Dana Beth McCulloch Cox will be held at a later date and will be announced by Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Memorials have been suggested to Mercy Neonatal Unit.
