Was it the sound of angry killer hornets circling about that caught the interest of passersby on Gateway Road on July 1? No, it was the buzz from over three dozen motocross bikes getting in some practice on Josh and Devin Inman’s Gateway MX track.
Although it was just for practice, the event still brought in 40 riders from near and far, riding with other riders of bikes in the same engine size category.
Many of them were just beginning and had dreams of catching huge air off a jump.
Matt Tucker and his son, Max, 4, came down from Kansas City to hone Max’s skills.
